Swaying in the breeze
Like someone has just picked it up on a twig out of the compost
Only it's giant
Held in the arm of a fig tree
Swaying erratically, in the breeze
You want the breeze to stop so the constant questing is over
All slippery
Slipping inside your clothes
Tasting your skin, with their skin
And you take it home with you
Down
Down into you
Your tummy swells
Till there is only a bit sticking out
Superficially protecting you
Every night, sliding out,
to be beside you again.
